Excellent organoleptic properties
The Moscata pumpkin is among the most appreciated pumpkin varieties in Italian cuisines, both for the excellent quality of the fruit and for the excellent organoleptic properties it contains.
The Moscata pumpkin has a rounded and flattened shape with a bronze-orange colour, and its dimensions reach an average weight of 12 kg: the pulp is very sweet and tasty, excellent for the preparation of risottos, soups and veloutés.
The Muscat pumpkin from Provence, in addition to being particularly good, has numerous qualities, such as being low-calorie, rich in fibre, rich in vitamins A and C, beta-carotene, and mineral salts such as potassium, calcium and phosphorus. Furthermore, its edible parts also include the seeds, which can be toasted or salted and dried.
